Today I will show you how to construct a LEGO Miles “Tails” Prower. I’ve included pictures of all the pieces you need for each section.
First , we will start with the head. Here are the pieces required:
First , take your yellow 2×2 and attach to two yellow slopes pieces:
Now get your 2×2 white plate and attach one 1×1 with clip to the plate like so:
Now take two 1×1 plates and attach a black stud to the bottom of each.
Now place them on top of the plates with the clips:
Now get the pieces pictures below:
Stack on top of the other with the 1×1 white plate on the bottom and place it between the eyes like this:
Now turn it around and place a 1×1 Brick in the empty space. The result will look like this:
Now add the yellow Brick with ears you built earlier:
Now place a yellow stud on the bottom in the middle. This will allow the head to swivel :
Next comes the body. Here are the required pieces :
Now place a 1×2 yellow Brick under the 2×2 yellow plate:
Now put two Bricks with a stud on the side in the front so they face the left and right :
Now place a 1×3 piece on each stud like this pictured :
Now place a plate with knob on the end of each arm :.
Next you will place a 1×2 plate with pole on the back of the body :
Next place a 1×2 yellow plate under the body like this :
Next are the tails. They are very simple. Place 2 plates with knobs on the plate with the pole. Place a 1×2 while plate on each knobbed plate , and place a tooth piece under each. I know it sounds terrifyingly hard , but here’s a pic of how simple it truly IS!:
Now place the head on the body. Place it so that the yellow stud under the head is in the middle of the 2×2 on the top of the body :
This last part is the easiest. Here are your pieces needed :

Put that together and attach it to the 1×2 with the clips like sooo:
Now place a yellow 1×2 plate on top of the plate with clips :
Now attach this to the front of the bottom of the body and your DONE!!! :

Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis was released in 2006 for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance System. The Game is a port of the hit 1991 Video Game for the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis and also has an “Anniversary Mode” where Sonic can Spin-Dash , an ability originally not seen until Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The Game has been reviewed as a terrible port of the original by others , and today I will review the Game myself.
I got my copy on eBay (won an Auction) for $8.18 . From the reviews I read , I expected it to be a Glitchy mess , something I might not have been able to beat. When I got it , I found that all the Reviews had one thing in common : they were all WRONG.

When you first start the Game you get “Licensed by Nintendo” followed by the Classic “Say Guh!” that we all know ; something that you would never hear back in the 90’s. The user is then greeted with the above. Just like the original version , the Game goes into Demo if the Start Button isn’t pressed within a certain amount of time. Once Start is pressed , a Menu opens up allowing the player to choose Original Mode , where the original Classic is played , Anniversary Mode , where Sonic can Spin-Dash , and Options where the player can turn either the Sound Effects or BGM or both on or off . The Juke Box option is unlocked if the Game is beaten. Beating the Final Boss in Original Mode unlocks all the Sound Effects. Beating it in Anniversary Mode unlocks all the BGM (Back Ground Music).
If a Zone is beaten in one Mode , it is unlocked saved in its own data , and unlocked and saved on the other , so you don’t have to beat the Game twice.
The Game saves your progress automatically , but if you want to delete it , hold the Left and Right Trigger and press Start while on the Title screen and you will be given the option to delete it or not.
This Game was criticized for its jerky and sometime slowed down Gameplay , bad Music , the fact that the Game was zoomed in a little to accommodate the GBA , the idea that the Game can’t keep up with Sonic , making him unable to be seen , in which case he could get attacked by an unexpected enemy , and Glitches. All of these are untrue , except the slowdown and a few Glitches. Also the second (Music) is subjective so that doesn’t really count , and the third (Zoom-In) is not a problem. Here is my Review of those:
It is claimed that this Game has jerky Gameplay. This is not true. There is a little bit of “bouncing” when going up a slope , but that is not jerky.
Slowed Down Gameplay:
There are slowdowns if too many things are happening at once. This also happened with the original Genesis version , but not as easily as with this. To make it just as good as the original , go to “Options” and turn off the BGM and SFX.
This Game’s Music is a GBA remix of the SEGA Genesis original. The Music is very “GBA-y” and emulates the original Music. I could see how this would upset someone , but the Music is not bad at all.
There is a bit of a Zoom-In to make up for the difference between a regular TV and the GBA’s screen. This makes a little bit of the top and a little bit of the bottom of the Game appear to be cut-off , but it’s only noticeable a few times throughout the Game . No problem at all.
Sonic speeding ahead of the screen? Not a chance , ever. I played the whole Game , Spin-Dashed , and matched (and sometimes even beat) my time records that I had on the original version with no screen being left behind.
In the Game there are very few “added” or “new” Glitches. The only real Glitch that I have found is that if you stand in between the Crusher and the floor in the Final Boss and the Crusher lifts , it will count as a crush and Sonic will lose a life. I’ve heard of other Glitches involving moving objects that can crush , but this is the only one I’ve encountered.
There are differences between this version and the original , like the Music , some of the Sounds and the Spin-Dash , but that’s part of the fun of it! There are very little “physical” changes made to the Game , and the Graphics are perfectly intact .
Honestly , this Game is a good port of the original ; though it’s not Arcade Perfect , it’s a lot like the original while being a fun remix. In my opinion , this Game is VERY underrated , and I gave it the Review it deserves. Thank you for reading , GOD BLESS!
I got my Genesis for $20 from a woman at my Church. The RF Unit was great , but
I was getting tired of it fading to static and looking fuzzy. To solve this , I
bought the AV Adapter . I must say , it gives PERFECT , SHARP Video and STUNNING
, CLEAR Audio. It’s much easier to plug in and use than the RF Unit , because I
had to set mine to Channel 4 since the Game was extra-fuzzy on Channel 3 (TV is
on that Channel , so there was interference) and you have to use the remote to
get to that Channel (it won’t let you do it from the TV , which I would like to
do when I go to turn on the Genesis). With this I could just change it to the AV
Channel and turn on the Genesis.
By now you’re probably wondering what
the problem is with this product. Well , here it is. When you use the AV Adapter
on a Model 2 Genesis (Can’t speak for anything else , as I don’t own a Model 3 ,
Nomad , or 32X) and you play ANY Sonic Game (excluding Spinball and Mean Bean
Machine ; there are no Rings in the latter) you have a big problem with the
Rings Sounds and BGM. When you get one Ring : nice , great sounding , “GLING”.
Next time , very faint , almost impossible to hear when running through multiple
Rings , “gling” , just like with the Emulated Compilations made for Modern
Systems. Also most of the Music in STH3 and S&K sounds off. Very , VERY
annoying . I also found that the Sub-Boss Music was missing the main part of the
BGM in Sonic 3 and Knuckles! Plus the Final Boss BGM in Sonic 2 was “Drowned
out” by the Death EGG Robot stomping. That pushed me off the edge , to the point
that I wanted to return the Product. But , before I did that , I did some
experimenting . I put the red wire in the white hole and that fixed the STH2
Final Boss Music and the S3K Sub-Boss Music , but then the Doomsday Zone Boss
was missing part of the BGM. So that meant I had to switch the cables around
when a different BGM plays. Very troublesome.
After a few days using this
, I switched back to the RF Unit. I plugged it in a fidgeted with it and got the
Picture quality looking much better. This cable has way too many Sound problems
, and no amount of crystal clear Picture can make up for that. The idea is good
, but it doesn’t work. If I try again , I will get the one made by Retro-Bit ,
as they seem more quality. This is what mine was like , and it MAY just be this
cable , but I’m not sure. If you can think of a way to fix any of these problems

Along with most successful Video Games comes merchandise such as Action Figures , Plushies , and LCD Mini-Games , though the latter fazed out a few years ago. Since I’m a big fan of Sonic and Pac-Man , I thought I should post about the best of the best merchandise. Let’s Start off with Pac-Man!
LCD Pac-Man Game
This is the cooler Lit one that is transparent. It’s got lots of extra functions like Pause , New Game , Two Player , Sound ON/OFF , and Player/Check. The Zones consist of multiple “Floors” that make up the map.
Arcade Candy Tin
The Arcade Candy Tin is amazing. It has lots of details and is low-priced. Look at the Game Screen!
Light-Up Sound-Making Ornaments
Though these are rather expensive , they are totally worth it. Press a Button and the Screen and Banner light up while sounds from the Game play. They retailed around $30 each when they came out , but the price is bound to have changed by now.
Ms./Pac-Man and Ghost Wind-Up
This is my NM Ms. Pac-Man 1982 Wind-Up. The fact that Ms. Pac-Man has pretty much been left out from all the modern Pac-Man Games makes it even more cool , as there isn’t anymore merchandise like this.
Pac-Man and Ghost (Blinky) Wind-Ups
These look great! You wind them up and they race around in circles. Plus the box can be closed back , unlike the Carded Ms. Pac-Man Wind-Up.
Very unique and only a Dollar! Nice and Nerdy!

Dr. Eggman (Robotnik) Plushie
Though Sonic X was terrible , there was still some good merchandise that relates to the Games. This Robotnik Plushie is a great figure that is one of the stars of my collection.
Sonic Spinball Machine
This is a fun machine with artwork from Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball (Game Gear/Master System). It’s got fun Sound Effects and a flashing light. It also has an LCD Display that will display a Score up to 99,999 Points.
Sonic the Hedgehog Archie Comics
Though the Archie Comics are a little too expansive compared to how the Games are (which are also too expansive themselves!) it’s still good to have something similar to the TV Shows , since the only good one was SatAM and that and the others are all gone.
Nooowwww…… for the best merchandise that BOTH Pac-Man AND Sonic have in common…..
TV GAMES!!! It is the cheapest way to get Arcade Perfect ports of Classic Games , since the Games on Virtual Console and Live Arcade are Emulations , not Ports. TV Games Still remain today , though Pac-Man TV Games are pretty much gone.

22 Years ago today , Sonic the Hedgehog was released. This Blue-Blur was Mario’s first real threat that also captured the hearts of millions. Sonic took the Video Game World by storm and is still very popular today. Though our friend has had multiple failures and stumbles throughout his life , he eventually stabilized and had many years of good Games.
When I was around five , my Dad gave me his SEGA Nomad and he hooked it up to the TV and I played lots of Games , but one stood out : Sonic the Hedgehog! I loved the Game so much that I got all the Toys and Plush that I could , and clung to them dearly. Sonic was a perfect Game back then. A little bit after that , Sonic Heroes came out , but by then the Nomad didn’t work. My parents got me a Sonic Compilation with most of the Genesis titles on it , and I played that so much more than Heroes that when my Dad saw me playing SH , he said “Glad to see you playing this!”. A few years later , the XBox 360 was released , and , along with it , the famous Sonic 06. I was devastated that I couldn’t get it , but later my Dad’s cousin gave us a 360. That Christmas , I got Sonic 06 , which is still one of my favorite Modern Sonic Games. Life went on , and I still remained a Sonic Fan. Ten years later , I am still dedicated. So a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the World’s Fastest , Awesomest , and Greatest Hedgehog: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONIC!!!!!

SEGA has again added 3 Game Gear Games to the 3DS eShop , but this time they have included one of Sonic’s Classic Platforming adventures as well as one of Tails’ rare Spin-Off’s , and another Game I’ve never heard of!
Sonic Blast is the Game Gear port of Sonic 3D Blast , though it is nothing like it. The game features “3D-ish” Graphics in Side-Scrolling Platformer version of Sonic 3D. The Game features music that is completely original ; it has very little relation to Sonic 3D’s music. This Game is very fun and long as well as difficult. The Game follows the same story as the other titles , except this time Robotnik has stolen all the Chaos Emeralds and built a Giant Space Station (Called a “Giant Platform with a Walrus Mustache” in the manual) that strongly resembles the Death Egg. You will gain access to an extra Boss if you collect all the Chaos Emeralds , just like the Genesis / Saturn version. Also , just like the Genesis / Saturn version , the Final Boss is shaped like an Egg. It is essentially a 2.5D version of Sonic and Knuckles , though the Game is easier with Knuckles due to his Climbing ability. Sonic has a “Blast Attack” , but it is nothing like the Homing Attack in Sonic 3D. It is basically a double-jump.
Tails Adventure! I’ve never played this before , but I’ve read up on it and it sounds fun! You go around as Tails in a little flying ship and also on land to destroy birds. You eventually battle a large evil Bird named Kukku.
Defender of Oasis. I’ve never heard or read about this until now. Looks fun though! SEGA says that there are more GG Games on the way for the eShop. Along with this , I announce that I have finally found someone who can fix my GG and hopefully for a low price! Please comment , GOD BLESS!
Have you ever had a hard time beating a game or just wanted to add extras to your game? Well , then you need a Game Genie!
A Game Genie is a special Cartridge that allows you to input codes before you start your Game. When you’ve entered your codes , you press Start and the Game starts as usual , but , depending on the code(s) you input , you will have extra abilities! Abilities like unlimited life , Ring multiplier , unlimited oxygen , and cool things like Super Sonic not losing Rings every second! The Cartridge is similar to the Sonic & Knuckles Cartridge , as in it has a Cartridge port on top of it , though this Cartridge has no lid. You can input up to five codes at a time that let you modify the Gameplay. Originally the Cartridge came with a code booklet , but the codes can easily be found online if you don’t have one.
I traded some Games I don’t play for this , and the employee was going to give me less than its price in store credit , but I haggled him up to the right price 🙂 . Now I have some pictures to show you ! Behold , the Tower of Genesis!
Game Genie , Sonic & Knuckles , and Sonic the Hedgehog 3! The only thing that could make this taller would be a 32X , or more of the S&K and GG Cartridges.
The Cartridges go on top of the GG , and the bottom of the GG is like a normal Cartridge.
This is really cool and a nice accessory for the Genesis. Having these cool abilities are amazing , and I’ve only seen one ability in this that can be done without it (Level Select in Sonic 1). You can start with 5 Emeralds , get Emerald multipliers , get Extra Lives with fewer Rings , Mega-Jumps , and lots of other great exclusives. You can also turn on or off the GG’s function during the Game , so if you want to play the Game normally you can just flip the switch on the GG. The only note I have (not a complaint) is that when you use it there is a light buzzing sound but it can’t be heard unless there is not sound in the Game or the volume is too high. Sonic 3D Blast was released in 1996 by SEGA and developed by Traveler’s Tales. The game was the first 3D Sonic the Hedgehog Game , featuring fully rendered graphics and isometric view.
The goal of this game is different than the other games. Robotnik has discovered the power of the Flickies , and turns them into Badniks in yet another attempt to capture the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic must destroy these Badniks and free the Flickies inside . He then must send them back to there home using Giant Rings.When Sonic frees a Flickie , it will follow him wherever he goes. If a Flickie is attacked , it will stray away and Sonic will have to get it’s attention again so it will follow him. If Sonic is hit , all of the Flickies scatter , and Sonic must re-collect them. Sonic must free 5 Flickies and send them back home to clear the Giant Ring , around which is blocked access to the next area of the Act. Once the Ring is cleared , the access is unblocked and Sonic can proceed. Each Zone consists of 3 Zones , 2 of which are regular levels where Sonic frees Flickies , and the third of which is a Boss battle , in which there are no Flickies. In the first Act of the Final Zone (Panic Puppet) , Flickies are trapped inside of containers , as Robotnik didn’t have enough time to Roboticize the them . There are still Badniks , but there are no Flickies inside. In the second Act of Panic Puppet , there are no Flickies at all , but there are still Badniks. The goal of that Act is to make your way to a giant statue of Dr. Robotnik and get inside of it , where the potential Final Boss is located. Along with the regular Shields (Blue that protects from Electricity , Red that protects from Fire/Lava) this game includes a Golden “Blast Shield” Which Sonic can use to perform Homing Attacks on enemies (or any dangerous Balloons). Of course Chaos Emeralds play a large role in the Game : if the player collects all seven Chaos Emeralds , they will gain access to the real Final Boss and a Good Ending. If the player does not collect all seven , Robotnik is seen with them in the Bad Ending.
SATURN VS GENESIS
The Game was originally released for the Genesis , but was later ported to Saturn to make up for the canceled “Sonic X-Treme” . During seven weeks of porting , the Game’s music , graphics , Special Stages , Zone appearance , speed , difficulty , and Map were completely re-designed ; the latter two of which were only altered slightly. The Saturn boasted better graphics , better music , better sound effects , extra details in the Levels , a map of all the Zones , a map of the Act on the Pause Screen , high-definition cutscenes , better special stages , higher speed , and a higher difficulty than the Genesis version , but had long Load Screens , as it was on a disc compared to a Cartridge , in which there are no Load Screens. Also , in the Saturn version , Sonic is flown to the Special Stage by whichever Character he gave the 50+ Rings to , as oppose to the Genesis version , where Sonic just appears there.
The Special Stages in the Saturn version are know for being some of the best in the Sonic series:

The Zone with the most difference (and the best Boss in my opinion) is the Final Boss. The music in the Genesis version (1st) is a techno beat that doesn’t really fit a Final Boss. The Saturn version has a “super-Evily death Robotnik” vamped-up version of the regular Boss theme.

SEGA has done well in selling their old Games on modern devices , and now they have added 4 titles to 3DS eShop! The titles include:
Sonic the Hedgehog (8-Bit)
Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine (8-Bit)
And Shining Force : The Sword of Hyjal!
I’m not sure how well these are emulated , or if they were ported. Why don’t y’all try it out? I have personally played MBM and STH and the 16-Bit version of Columns and they are all great. If y’all have these , please tell us! GOD BLESS!
Most 3rd-party accessories for the SEGA Genesis and Saturn are complete crap. They don’t work , they perform horribly , and they are fragile. But , there are a handful that stand above the rest. Here they are :
Most 3rd-party game parts are just junk , but , as the box says, this is an
innovation. It actually works very well! It’s low-priced and sturdy , as well as
reliable. My only comment is that the part that plugs into the wall gets very
hot , but not to a dangerous point , and the original adapter may do that as
well , but I don’t know. The box design is clever : It never says that it is
licensed by SEGA , but it has a very small fake SEGA Seal that says “THE BEST” .
The logo is small enough to gain approval of a quick looker. It also mentions
that it works for “GEN 2 & 3” , so it looks legit , and it’s actually worthy
of being legit. I usually fork out the extra money for official products , but
this is just fine.
Also we have the amazing Eclipse Stick:
I traded some games and $5 with a local game merchant to get this controller ,
and I’d say it’s worth everything I spent. Its got large Arcade-style buttons
and a Joystick. Its also got a strong metal base and is made of very
high-quality parts. Unlike the other 3rd-party junk this controller proves
itself worthy. It has a “Slow” button that pauses and un-pauses the game rapidly
, which , though a nice addition , is kind of unnecessary . You can also program
a button to activate multiple buttons at once as well as some other features I
can’t quite figure out , like the two switches and the second feature on the LED
display. That leads us to our next point : the LED display. It’s really nice and
bright , great addition! The controller even works great with “Notorious” games
like Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic R. The only complaint I have is the “Trigger
Button” placement. It makes it pretty hard to use the “Corner” function in Sonic
R , but since I can corner easily without triggers in most levels , I only have
to avoid the Regal Ruins Track while using this , due to it’s curves. But ,
that’s just with Sonic R , so I don’t know how it would fare in games where the
triggers would perform other functions. The controller uses a more reliable and
repairable method of touch sensors , and since the analog Thumbpad on my 3D
controller uses a technology I don’t know how to repair , I find this
controller’s build more favorable (BTW , if anyone knows how to fix the analog
Thumbpad , please comment!!). It’s an amazing 3rd-party controller that matches
and , at some points , outdoes SEGA’s official controllers. What I LOVE LOVE
LOVE about this controller is the really long cord. My bed (where I sit when
playing my GEN/Saturn and other Games) is a reasonably long distance from my
television , and I have to sit at the end of my bed to play my GEN/Saturn. But
with this controller , I am free to lie around on my bed while using this
heavenly controller. I recommend this up to at least the $25 range , but not too
