AT-ST and Endor 9679 Review
The set is the first since 2007 to feature the AT-ST Driver minifigure. It has a double-sided head (which is the same as the one on the Death Star Guard ) one side has the visor and chin strap and the other has a mad face. He FINALLY has the dark grey helmet. He has the newer mini blaster which is good since it is more for defence than attack (if he happened to leave his keys locked in the AT-ST). Speaking of which……..
IT HAS AN AT-ST!!! I have always loves the old AT-AT’s and AT-ST’s and this is a great AT-ST model. The only problem is the blue Technic pegs are clearly visible from the side of the model. Just like the ole ’02 version , a printed flap gives most of the detail on the model. For its size , it is the most accurate AT-ST (besides the correct to scale MOC I made) I have ever seen. Walks good and doesn’t lean forward even though the head is held in place by 2 Technic pegs.
Endor looks amazing. I kinda wish it was like the Death Star planet , in the sense that it has texture . It looks a lot like Endor and it has the little stand , just like the others.
Over-all , I give it a 9.5 , minus a .5 point since Endor isn’t exactly like the movie and doesn’t have texture like the Death Star. Please comment , GOD BLESS!
